In an effort to simplify player connections to the Main 24CC Nether Tunnel, simplified instructions are outlined below. Please let me know if anything is still confusing.
Nether portal creation
Option One: You have 20 blocks of obsidian
- Place your portal in your base at the desired location (it is recommended to have enough obsidian for 2 portals before beginning as you will most likely connect to a preexisting portal in the Nether.
- Light your portal.
- Note the x,z coordinates of your over world portal before going through.
- After you have gone through your portal.
• you have either come through another players portal or
• you have spawned a new portal in the nether (this should be moved)
- Divide your over world coordinates by 8. For example 200, 65, 567 would be 25, 65, 71. Go to this location in the nether and place your nether portal.
- Light your portal and go through.
- You should be back in your base! If not you messed up, re-read these instructions.
Option Two: You only have 10 blocks of obsidian and don't feel like getting 10 more
- Go to the spot you want your portal to be in the over world.
- Note the x,y,z coordinates and then divide them by 8. For example 200, 65, 567 would be 25, 65,71.
- Go to this location in the nether, place and light your nether portal then go through.
- You should be back in your base! If not you messed up, re-read these instructions.
Making a tunnel to connect to the main line:
- All tunnels must be enclosed to reduce the chance of damage to the main lines from Ghast blast. If you do not have the materials for a fully enclosed tunnel please make a tunnel entrance that is closed (behind the quartz).
- The main line tunnels are at y level 99 so most likely your tunnel will step up or down into the main line.
- Please connect to the main line that is closest to your portal. For example if your Nether portal is at 25, 71 you would connect to the Green line as 25 is the smaller number.
- All player tunnels must remain behind the colored clay of their tunnel. The quartz in the main line MUST stay intact and unaltered.
